About my village, though it is not associated with any historical event; however it is unique in many ways.
The Boh valley located at the foothills of the Dhauladhar mountain range in the Shahpur area of Kangra district is a picturesque valley comprising grasslands, green fields and natural rivulets flowing from mountains. However, located at a distance of 30 km from Shahpur town, the valley is difficult to approach. The road to the area suffers landslides in monsoons and is at times cut off from the mainland. It is a bane for the hardworking Gaddi farmers of the Boh valley who are known for their skills of dairy farming. A village is a quiet and lonely place where is prefect for rest and
appreciation of the beauties of nature. In a village, people do not
live too close to one another. Therefore, our house is far apart from
any other houses. Flowers, fruit plants and vegetables surround our
house. All this makes our house look green and fresh. There are many
streams and rivers near our house that gave beauty to our place. The
only thing, I never forgot my middle school life about judging other people especially my middle classmate, Boh.
HOW TO REACH
By Train : Get down at PathanKot and take road connectivity
By Road : Well connected by public transport from all important places.
